Insurance document management configured around policies and claims
Carriers, MGAs, and TPAs handle a steady flow of claims, policy documents, endorsements, and correspondence, most of it arriving by email and scan. DocuPro files each document against the policy or claim it belongs to, routes it to the right desk, and keeps the audit trail. Index-based security means underwriting, claims, and finance each see only what is theirs.
Index fields are yours to define. Add, rename, or look them up from another system — searches, security rules, and workflow routing all key off the same values.
A workflow that follows your stages
An example of how insurance documents move through DocuPro. Stages, tasks, routing, and notifications are configured to match how your team already works.
Access decided by the document itself
Users authenticate with Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on. Groups grant what a role can do, folders scope where documents live, and security rules filter by index values. A document a user cannot see never appears in search, queues, print, or export.

Frequently asked questions
Can DocuPro link documents to our policy administration or claims system?
Yes. External field lookups validate index values against your systems, and deep links open a policy or claim file in DocuPro directly from another application.
How do agents and insureds submit documents?
Most carriers use import email addresses and the Outlook add-in so mail and attachments file straight into the right claim. Scanned mail comes in through batch scanning with separator sheets.
Can we separate access between claims, underwriting, and finance?
Yes. Combine user groups, folder permissions, and index-based security rules so each department sees only its own document types and records.
